About Hadley Mitchell

My View of Therapy

I view therapy as a collaborative and goal oriented process where clients bring expertise of their life and I bring counselling knowledge and experience to help people make meaningful changes and get to a better place.

As a goal-oriented therapist, I work closely with clients to establish therapy goals and track our progress towards achieving them. I love helping clients gain new understnading and perspective about themselves, their relationships, and how they see the world.

Clients have told me that I have a compassionate, supportive and non-judgemental approach, while also being direct at times, which helps them work through the issues that matter most.

It is important to me that clients leave sessions with more hope, direction and tangible next steps.

A Personal Note

When I’m not working, I can be found enjoying outdoor activities; campfires, hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobiling. As a nature enthusiast, I also love both gardening and tending to our many house plants. Above all else, I value relationships and quality time with family, friends, my wife, our daughter (Levi), and dogs (Luna & Ripley).

I am available for both in-person and virtual sessions weekdays and some evenings. Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes.

Please reach out with any questions.
